Psalm 91:1-2

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

I am sure that over recent weeks and days you have received emails and updates from many organisations about Covid-19 (Coronavirus). As a church we are and will be adapting the way in which we function as a church as the impacts of Covid-19 impact our communities and lives.

We need to remember that although much has changed and may change God is still God. He is faithful, He can be trusted and His sovereignty is not diminished. As people of faith, we need not fear because we know that Covid-19 is not the final word. God alone has the final word.

As a church our role is still to be the church. Over the coming weeks, and possibly months this may look different, but we will still be working out our vision and mission to Kaiapoi and North Canterbury. We are about: ‘Food for LIFE’ We believe that one of our key roles is to offer compassion and hope to those we know and love, and to those in our wider communities.

This section of the website contains information and resources that will help us continue to be church as we navigate through the challenges of Covid-19.

May you keep your eyes on the one who is able to sustain and care for you, God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. Shalom.
