You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.


We lead lives that are intensely connected. Those connections are important to our well bring and sense of identity. During the restrictions imposed due to Covid-19 we need to take positive actions to alleviate some of the challenges that isolation brings.


Relationships

We are relational beings. God created us for relationship with Him and one another. As we face another lock down and the challenges of isolation due to Covid-19 we need to make sure that we are deliberate in the way that we keep our relationships healthy.

Rhythms

We are creatures of habit. We do all manner of ‘riutals’ that help shape our lives and even give it rhythm and meaning. During this time of isolation many of our daily rituals have been disrupted. This gives us an opportunity to re-imagine or replace these habits in our life.

Recreation

The restrictions of Covid-19 may mean that our usual recreation pursuits have been disrupted. This can cause stress and lead to frustration. Find different and healthy ways to be restored, or perhaps rediscover an old joy that has been squeezed out due to the busyness of normal life.

Rest

Rest is important for our health and well being. Research clearly shows that a lack of sleep has a negative impact on the immune system. So it goes without saying – make sure you are getting enough sleep and rest.
