The Friday of Easter is always a solemn day, a time for reflection, even though we know Sunday is coming. This year we created spaces for people to engage with the events of Christs betrayal, arrest, crucifixion and burial. Each space focused on parts of the Holy Week narrative.
It was great to see people take the opportunity to move through at there own pace and even have time to explain things for the younger members of our church. It wasn’t a joyous celebration, it was a time of somber reflection on the sacrifice our Saviour made.
Below are some images from some of the stations.
