Paul in his last letter leaves Timothy an important challenge about living a godly life, the reality of persecution and that Timothy, and therefore us have all we need to withstand persecution and attain salvation. As we see more and more radical social change in the West, persecution will become more and more a reality for those who live a 'godly life'.
