We live in an age where we can join up to almost anything – it seems that almost every day we need to sign up to a new website, loyalty programme, or social media app, then there are those memberships that we renew, every year – football club, golf club, gym membership or magazine subscriptions.  We live in a time when we end up being a member of many, many different things, we click the terms and conditions without ever reading them fully.
