Sit down and grab a drink…

To say that there is plenty going on in the world at the moment is a classic understatement. We are living in and through a global viral pandemic. We are seeing rising social unrest that has spilled from the United States into our own country around the value of human lives and issues of systemic injustice.

It can be difficult to know exactly what to say and how to respond. The ability to engage in discourse or debate is vanishing from our society. This is pushing us further and further apart. Entrenchment of ideas helps no-one.

Recently I came across an article that helps frame some of the issues around the various social justice issues we see being championed at the moment.

The second article is a quick interview with NT Wright about the Corona pandemic and his response found in the book: God and the Pandemic: A Christian Reflection on the Coronovirus and its aftermath.

So grab a cup of your favourite beverage and enjoy reading these two thought provoking articles.
